A Term Insurance Doesn't Protect Your Life

It is protection for someone else

Term Insurance is usually known as life insurance.

As we know, insurance is a hedge against future risks. In case of a term insurance, the hedge is to provide money to your dependents in case of your death.

However, it does not do what it claims to do. It is not life insurance in real sense. It does not protect your life. It only protects others who are dependent on you.

It is more a cash flow insurance. It provides your family with a cash flow stream to enable them to survive in your absence.
