Charlie Munger passed away last week at the age of 99. He was going to celebrate his 100th birthday next January. Those who don’t know him, he was Warren Buffets business partner. Charlie has been called the modern day Seneca. He has left a lasting impression of the world through his mental models. He will probably be remembered for centuries.
They'll say when I die, "How much did Charlie leave?" And the answer will be, "I believe he left it all.
Charlie has had a meaningful impact in my life as well. He has shaped a lot of my thinking. The most important lessons for me has been to avoid stupidities in life. That a lot of success can be achieved in life by just avoiding stupidities. This simplistic approach to life has worked for me so far.
There is a huge amount of content around the lessons of Charlie. I am trying my best today to share some of the best ones with you along with some book recommendations.
